Nanjing Light Industrial Machinery Group, directly subordinate to China National Building Materials Corporation, is a large-scale state-owned enterprise integrated with functions of product R & D, design, manufacturing, and international trade. The main plant in the group has over 400 intermediate and senior engineering technicians. The main plant takes up an area of nearly 150.000 m2, and owns about 1000 pieces/sets of various processing equipments. The group is mainly engaged in eight categories and approximately a thousand types of products, involving beer & beverage machinery, surface treatment & environmental protection engineering, stamping mechanics, pipe-making machinery, and packaging machinery.

Nanjing Sifang Surface Technology Co., Ltd. (briefly referred to as Sifang hereinafter), as a joint-stock company invested by Nanjing Light Industrial Machinery Group, is in charge of EPC projects such as design, manufacturing, installation, and debugging of various surface treatment and environmental protection engineering projects, as well as development, production, and sales services of plating additives. In Sifang, a group of professional technicians with long-term experience in design, manufacturing, installation, and debugging of surface treatment projects have been working under the instruction of an advanced management idea. Moreover, these technicians not only have sound theoretical basis, but also have rich practical operating experience, and they are under the leadership of an administration team with abundant management experience. All these staffs construct a solid foundation for the steady development of the corporation.

Sifang was established over thirty years ago, which is a Standing Director Unit of China Surface Engineering Association, a chief editor unit of Modern Electroplating, and a drafting unit of National Safety Production Industrial Standards—Safety Code for Electroplating Production Equipment & Technology Design.
